Utility Coordinator

​​​​​​​Job Summary:

This position will provide project management and utility coordination on projects for NCDOT and various municipalities throughout North Carolina.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school/GED diploma and 3-5 years experience (Associates Degree preferred but not required)
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Familiarity with ADOBE and/or BlueBeam PDF software
  • Knowledge of municipal, state and federal permitting requirements
  • Ability to work within a team framework
  • Ability to perform basic assignments independently
  • Prepare Utilities by Others Plans
  • Prepare Utility Analysis Routing Reports
  • Willingness to develop new skills with Microstation and ArcGIS
  • Must be able to lift and transport office  and field equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to walk on uneven terrain, working outdoors, and opening structure tops that weigh 70-80 pounds
  •  Frequent daily travel and occasional overnight travel will be required
