Davis-Martin was founded by Harold L. Martin & Bobby L. Davis in 1965.  The firm continued to grow and expand its services, and in 1972 Charles “Ed” Powell joined the original founders and Davis-Martin-Powell & Associates was formed.   The company continues to stress the original principles of building personal relationships with our clients and offering high quality services at reasonable fees.   This formula has worked well for the company, which continues to thrive and has many long-term clients, many who have been with us since the late 1960’s.

Over the years we have maintained experienced staff in both Engineering disciplines while our Surveying Department has provided support to our Engineering projects and also completed in excess of 40,000 individual surveying projects.  Our strengths have always been in the private land development and municipal water/wastewater markets.   In recent years we have also developed a strong portfolio of public education facility campus projects, including both primary and secondary education facilities.   Our balanced and diverse clientele has enabled us to weather economic changes and maintain a constant growth.

We seek to leverage our industries technical innovations to create value in our services and seek ways to creatively solve problems for the benefit of our clients.    We encourage our clients to participate in this creative process throughout the design, so that we can team with them to meet their goals.
